Pre-Kindergarten Screenings

Who is eligible for a screening?

Screening is available to ALL children ages 3-5, who live in Lansing School District 158.   This is a FREE service for every child.  Residency will need to be proven prior to the screening.

What is a screening?

Screening is the first step in the assessment process.  The DIAL-3 is the instrument used in this process and is designed to give a developmental overview of your child in the following areas:  cognition, motor, speech/language, vision/hearing, self-help, and social development.

When do screenings take place?

Screenings will take place on the following dates:

September 29th, 2011

September 30th, 2011

January 27th, 2012

May 14th-18th, 2012
