ABOUT THE TEACHER - MRS. NEWTON

 

Hello, my name is Mrs. Newton. I am the Technology Teacher at

Memorial Junior High School in Lansing, Illinois.

   EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND  

I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from Purdue University Calumet.

I also have a Master's Degree in Education - Instructional Design also from Purdue University Calumet.

   ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

My interests include computers (of course). I really enjoy finding new ways to use the Internet in the classroom and web page design. I also enjoy making and editing home movies.

 Another strong interest I have is in the area of fitness and nutrition (I worked for many years as a certified Group Exercise Instructor).

I have a husband (Mr. Newton), a 6 year old son (Charlie), a 4 year old son (Matthew), and a 5 year old Akita Dog (Sir Isaac Newton).
