General Music
Music at Memorial is one of six Block subjects that each student takes each year. The other Block subjects are Art, Civics, Mission Math, Strategic Reading, and Technology.
Students in Music learn to play guitar and keyboard (piano). They learn the basics of reading music. They listen to different styles of music. This year they will do a project exploring the different instruments of the orchestra.
A student’s music grade is an average of his/her grades on guitar tests, keyboard tests, and written assignments.
