Homework

Students should be practicing their addition and subtraction facts every night.  We will be starting timed tests after Christmas .

Remember:  Vocabulary words and spelling words come home every  Monday night.  The vocabulary words should be practiced until your child can recognize them by sight.  Spelling words need corrected in the middle column if they are spelled incorrectly.  Then write them one time each in the last column.  Please check your child's paper because many of the children are writing them incorrectly in the last column.

Spelling tests are on Fridays.

Reading books will come home on Tuesdays unless there is no school on Monday.  Read the story orally with your child and sign their book.
