Congratulations to retired Oak Glen teacher and volunteer Judy Meyer who last week celebrated 50 years of service to Lansing School District 158! Ms. Meyer taught fourth grade at Oak Glen from 1969 to 2002 and spent the next 17 years consulting and working with first and second graders. On Wednesday, April 11, she was surprised with a party at Oak Glen that was attended by students, school board members, administrators, friends, village officials, and current and retired teachers! First grade students read a poem they created in tribute to Ms. Meyer and designed a "Thumbs Up" bulletin board stating why she is important to them. Thanks for your service!
