CCDPH is providing back-to-school immunizations at no cost for the 2026-27 school year to suburban Cook County children ages 6 months to 18 years old, regardless of immigration or insurance status, now through mid-October. The annual battery drive is underway, with the District Office offering a pizza party to the classroom that collects the most individual batteries. Our school's deadline for donations is December 12th to allow time for packing and preparation before collection. The donated batteries will support children in hospitals during the holiday season. Please consider contributing to this meaningful cause that brings both classroom recognition and holiday joy to those who need it most.
Coolidge Book Exchange 11/17-21
On November 13, 2025, from 5-6:30pm, Nicor Gas will be providing a free virtual energy fair that will teach you tips for saving energy and money this winter. Learn about free energy-saving opportunities, connect with billing assistance resources, and meet organizations that can provide you with helpful community services that will assist in supporting housing, bill assistance, health services and more.
Don't forget! 🎃 Coolidge Trunk-or-Treat is THIS Saturday (10/25)! 👻 Costumes ready? Candy bags prepared? We're introducing something special this year - a "Preview Path" from 9:45-10:00am for our friends with sensory sensitivities to enjoy the fun before crowds arrive. 🧡 It's going to be spook-tacular! See you there for some Halloween magic! Can't commit to decorating a trunk? Want to still help? Candy donations will be accepted today and tomorrow in the main office. 🍬
