Lansing School District 158 will be participating in the upcoming Good Neighbor Day Parade on Saturday, May 4! If you would like to walk with us, please see below for an online store to purchase parade t-shirts.
Orders should be placed no later than Friday, April 19. Parents, students, family members, and community stakeholders are welcome to participate. We look forward to seeing you there! Feel free to contact the office of your child's school with any questions. All of our schools will be represented at the parade.

District 158's Regular Board of Education Meeting planned for tonight (March 20, 2024) is being cancelled due to the absence of school board members. This meeting will be rescheduled for Wednesday, March 27, 2024, 6:00 PM at the District Administration Center, 18300 Greenbay Avenue, Lansing, IL 60438. A new agenda will be published before the rescheduled meeting.
All of our schools are closed tomorrow (Tuesday, March 19) for Election Day and students will not be in session. We hope our stakeholders will take an opportunity to vote in the General Primary Election. The District Office will be open tomorrow and students return to school on Wednesday, March 20.
Local retired Major League Baseball player Curtis Granderson, who grew up in Lynwood and attended T. F. South High School, visited Oak Glen to inspire students and staff with his story! Village of Lansing Cleanup Day - April 20, 2024
Congratulations to Oak Glen's Boys Basketball Team for finishing their 2023-2024 season with a perfect 6-0 record and winning their third consecutive undefeated championship! #OakGlenExtraordinaire
Oak Glen recently recognized 13 students for maintaining Perfect Attendance for the first 100 days of school! Congratulations also to the fourth grade class of Mrs. Fry and Mrs. Joria for having the highest rate of attendance in January (96%). #OakGlenExtraordinaire
Today a STAY INSIDE safety protocol was implemented at all of our schools in response to heavy police presence near Reavis Elementary School. This procedure has been lifted as the police vacated the area; however, students will remain indoors the rest of the school day as a precaution. Dismissals will proceed as normal with administrative and police presence (uniformed and/or undercover) at our buildings.

Students will participate in remote learning from home and all school buildings will be closed. Athletics and extracurricular activities are cancelled. Staff will be available remotely and this day will not need to be made-up at the end of the school year.
